EAST FALLOWFIELD — No injuries were reported in a two-alarm house fire in the Manchester Farms neighborhood of the township, Saturday evening.

Although initial reports said that two dogs in the home perished in the Bridal Path fire, they apparently were found alive and rescued from the structure Sunday morning.

Firefighters from Modena, Coatesville,Thorndale, East Brandywine Minquas, West Bradford and Wagontown responded to the alarm and were able to bring the fire under control in about one hour. The house was heavily damaged and there were some reports of minor damage to neighboring homes.

A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to help the victims. To help click here: http://www.gofundme.com/f7c48sprc4

I wonder if the Fire Marshall investigated whether this house had sufficient fire blocks installed in the studs. They are required by the BOCA Building Code.
