Rainbow student selected for showcase

Rainbow Elementary School principal Cliff Maloney and fifth grade student Hunter DiSciullo display her award from the Pennsylvania School Boards Association after being selected to perform at the Student Celebration Showcase for the School Leadership Conference in Hershey on Oct. 17.

HERSHEY – Hunter DiSciullo, a fifth grade student at Rainbow Elementary School from the Coatesville Area School District, was selected to perform at the Student Celebration Showcase for the School Leadership Conference on Oct. 17.

Through an audition process, 11 groups and individuals were selected from nearly 40 entries for the first Student Celebration Showcase.

Hunter is 10 years old and is a straight A student.  Her teachers describer her as hardworking, friendly and respectful.

For the show, she played piano and sang two songs.  Hunter has been singing since she could talk and started playing piano at six-years-old.  She has also participated in her school talent shows, school and church choir, and piano recitals.
