Former Secretary of Pennsylvania Department of Revenue will oversee operations<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

CHESTER, PA \u2013 The Board of Directors of the Chester Water Authority (CWA) named Robert A. Judge Sr. to serve as the organization\u2019s new Executive Manager, where he will oversee the operations of the municipal authority.\u00a0 The CWA provides water service to more than 200,000 residents and businesses in southern Chester County, western Delaware County, and the City of Chester.<\/p>\n

Judge previously served as the Secretary of Revenue for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for more than 5 years.\u00a0 For the past 8 years, he worked as Exelon Generation\u2019s Manager of Communications for the Mid-Atlantic Region.\"cwa\"<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Russell Williams, who has led the CWA as Chief Engineer and General Manager for 8 years, will continue to serve as Chief Engineer.\u00a0 Williams’ tenure has been marked by numerous awards and recognition for both himself and the CWA, including the Engineer of the Year Award from the Delaware County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers, as well as honors from the American Water Works Association, the Partnership for Safe Water, and the Chester County Conservation District.<\/p>\n

“We greatly appreciate Russ\u2019s service and his tenure has been rightfully recognized many times over with numerous awards and recognitions,” said Leitzell.<\/p>\n

The Board of Directors approved the appointment of Judge at its monthly board meeting on Thursday, December 17 following an executive search process.\u00a0 Judge will fill the position of Executive Manager effective January 18, 2016.<\/p>\n
