Santander and the Eagles recognized 10 inspiring individuals for the positive impact they have made in the Philadelphia community during a special pre-game celebration at the Eagles football stadium. Eagles alum Vince Papale joined Santander executive Julie Vetack to congratulate the honorees.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Mike was recognized for his work as President of Jeeps for Joy, an organization that helps complete the wish lists of local children\u2019s hospitals and Ronald McDonald Houses. In addition, they donate rides on Jeeps and organize a Build-A-Bear event each year to build and deliver bears to local hospitals. Honorees received a VIP gameday experience that included watching the Eagles take on Chicago from the Santander Field Club located in the end zone at the Eagles football stadium. Santander donated $15,000 to local non-profit organizations, including a $500 donation for Jasinski\u2019s non-profit organization of choice as part of the Community Quarterback program.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a company committed to respecting our customers and communities, the \u2018Santander Community Quarterback\u2019 program is the perfect opportunity for us to show respect to individuals who are change makers in greater Philadelphia,\u201d said Os Rana, SVP of Brand, Media and Creative Integration at Santander Bank. \u201cMike has touched the lives of so many through his work with Jeeps for Joy, and we are thrilled to partner with the Philadelphia Eagles to recognize the important contributions he\/she is making in his\/her local community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u2018Santander Community Quarterback\u2019 program was established to honor exceptional individuals who exemplify leadership, dedication and commitment to improving their communities.
