The jacket worn by a woman, whose body was discovered in Valley Twp., Oct. 29. Authorities are asking the public for help to identify her.<\/p><\/div>\n

The Chester County District Attorney’s Office and the Valley Township <\/span>Police Department announced<\/span> the recovery of the partially decomposed<\/span> body of<\/span> a woman in Valley Township. They are asking for the public’s assi<\/span>s<\/span>tance <\/span>in identification of <\/span>the woman.<\/p>\n

On October 29, some bypassers noticed human bones<\/span> in a<\/span> wooded area near the 500 <\/span>block of East Glencrest Road in Valley Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. Valley Township Police Officers and <\/span>Chester County Detectives <\/span>responded to the scene, as well as the Coroner’s Office<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Police discovered the bones and partially decomposed <\/span>body of a woman. The woman was small<\/span> in stature,<\/span> age<\/span> range of 16-40, and white<\/span> or Latina. There were no signs of trauma. She was wearing a yellow and gray sweatshirt. <\/span>On her right hip, she <\/span>had a tattoo of <\/span>a ram or the Capricorn symbol.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“At<\/span> thi<\/span>s<\/span> time, we have no indication of criminal activity,” Valley Township Police Chief Brian Newhall<\/span> said. “However, we need to identify this <\/span>woman and alert her family.”<\/p>\n

The <\/span>body does not match any known missing persons from Chester County.<\/span><\/p>\n

There was no identification on the body or in the surrounding area.<\/span><\/p>\n

“This<\/span> woman<\/span> is<\/span> somebody’s daughter, sister, or mother,” Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan said. “We are asking for the public’s<\/span>\u00a0help<\/span> to identify her and return her to her family<\/span>.<\/span>“<\/span><\/p>\n
