Tim Hennessey<\/p><\/div>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">SPRING CITY &#8211; State Representative Tim Hennessey (R-26) visited Southeastern Veterans Center (SEVC) recently to deliver three hundred N95 masks for the veterans in residence at the center.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cI asked my son to locate these masks and I purchased them so our veterans can be safe and secure in place,&#8221; Hennessey said in a statement. &#8220;We owe our veterans not only our thanks, but also concrete steps to make them feel extra special and protected during this pandemic.\u00a0 Purchasing these masks is my way of helping our veterans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cI\u2019ve been in frequent contact with staff at Southeastern Veterans Center and with the Pennsylvania Department of Military &amp; Veterans Affairs at Fort Indiantown Gap, which oversees our state veterans homes.\u00a0 They are doing all they can to see us through this crisis.\u201d<!--more--><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cThe Southeastern Veterans Center is a nationally-recognized medical center and one of the gems of Pennsylvania\u2019s state Veterans Home system,\u201d noted Hennessey.\u00a0 \u201cRegular medical and nursing staff are being assisted by both the Pennsylvania National Guard and the federal Veterans Administration (VA) hospital in Coatesville.\u00a0 Medical detachments are on-site at Southeast Veterans Center to maintain excellent medical and nursing services for our veterans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This is the second order of N95 masks which Hennessey has purchased.\u00a0 In April, he delivered one hundred masks to fire companies and paramedic services across the 26th Legislative District.\u00a0 Hennessey has an additional seven hundred masks that will be delivered to police, fire and ambulance departments this week.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cThis pandemic came upon us without much warning, and has hit us very hard, especially in southeast Pennsylvania.\u00a0 I am committed to doing my part to ensure they remain safe throughout this pandemic.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SPRING CITY &#8211; State Representative Tim Hennessey (R-26) visited Southeastern Veterans Center (SEVC) recently to deliver three hundred N95 masks for the veterans in residence at the center. \u201cI asked my son to locate these masks and I purchased them so our veterans can be safe and secure in place,&#8221; Hennessey said in a statement.
