Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA\u00a0 19335.\u00a0 Checks payable to \u201cDTRCC\u201d and note in the memo line \u201cBusiness Relief Fund\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>DTRCC is kicking off the fund drive by donating $5,000 to the relief fund from the proceeds our upcoming Downingtown FallFest.\u00a0 Businesses in the Chamber service area, both members and non-members, who received flood damage from Hurricane Ida are eligible to apply for relief funding.\u00a0 Applications are available at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dtrcc.com\">www.dtrcc.com<\/a>.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Hurricane Ida Business Relief Fund disbursements will be supplemental to any FEMA funding that impacted businesses may receive.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn behalf of our Board of Directors, we are proud to step-up and help our businesses who are recovering from the devastation caused by Hurricane Ida\u201d, said Patti McComsey, President of DTRCC.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, DTRCC has met with the Chester County Economic Development Council to explore avenues to provide \u201cbridge financing\u201d for businesses needing capital before FEMA and other assistance is received.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dWe commend the Downingtown-Thorndale Chamber for responding\u00a0 so quickly to the devastation caused by Hurricane Ida and pledge to help however we can.\u00a0\u00a0 We know so many businesses are desperate for assistance and this relief fund is a terrific first step.\u00a0 We look forward to further conversations with the Chamber to identify or create additional assistance programs.\u201d\u00a0 Said Gary Smith, President and CEO of CCEDC.<\/p>\n<p>Questions regarding donations or applications, contact Chamber Executive Director Steve Plaugher at 610-269-1523 or <a href=\"mailto:splaugher@dtrcc.com\">splaugher@dtrcc.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DOWNINGTOWN\u00a0 \u2014\u00a0The Downingtown-Thorndale Regional Chamber of Commerce (DTRCC) announces the establishment of its Hurricane Ida Business Relief Fund to assist businesses devastated by flooding related to the storm.
