The Valley Township Police Department has been awarded the prestigious FBI-Law Enforcement Executive Development Association (FBI-LEEDA) Agency Trilogy Award, a national honor recognizing agencies that <\/span>demonstrate<\/span> exceptional commitment to leadership development and professional excellence.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

FBI-LEEDA Executive Director Jacques Battiste formally presented the award to Chief Glenn Eckman and Sergeant Timothy Parker during a recent Valley Board of Supervisors meeting, acknowledging the department\u2019s dedication to strengthening leadership across all levels of its command staff.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Agency Trilogy Award is presented to law enforcement agencies whose entire command staff has successfully completed FBI-LEEDA\u2019s three flagship leadership institutes: the Supervisor Leadership Institute, Command Leadership Institute, and Executive Leadership Institute. These programs focus on critical topics such as ethical decision-making, emotional intelligence, community engagement, implicit bias, and strategies that build public trust.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Valley<\/span> Township Police Department is the 26th agency in Pennsylvania and the 79th agency nationwide in 2025 to earn this award.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe believe that effective leadership is the cornerstone of successful policing, and by investing in our team, we directly enhance the<\/span><\/span> professionalism of our agency and the<\/span> q<\/span><\/span>uality of service we provide to our community,\u201d said Chief Glenn Eckman. \u201cI am <\/span><\/span>so <\/span><\/span>proud of our command staff for achieving this recognition.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
