Christiana Man Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"On December 17, 2025, Stephen Jordan, 36, of Christiana, Pennsylvania, was arrested for Possession and Dissemination of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), Sexual Intercourse with an Animal, and other related charges. The Defendant was remanded to Chester County Prison after failing to post $200,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for January 15, 2026.<\/p>\n

The criminal complaint indicates that, after receiving a tip, Detectives utilized search warrants to track an IP address linked to a Kik account and identified the Defendant as the account holder. While reviewing some of the videos associated with the account, Detectives located CSAM and recordings of bestiality. The Defendant, positively identified by distinct tattoos in the videos, is seen having sexual intercourse with a dog. The Chester County Detectives is the lead investigative agency and Assistant District Attorney Michael Tomcho is the assigned prosecutor.<\/p>\n

Coatesville Man Pleads Guilty to Kidnapping<\/span><\/p>\n

On December 29, 2025, Samuel Ammon-Cruz, of Coatesville, Pennsylvania, pled guilty to Kidnapping, Aggravated Assault, Fleeing and Eluding, and other <\/span>related charges before the Honorable Bret M. Binder. The plea agreement\u2014which was reached in consultation with the victim and approved by the Judge\u2014caused the Defendant to be sentenced to 8-24 years in state prison.<\/p>\n

The case stems from a incident in March of 2024 where the Defendant kidnapped his ex-girlfriend at a local restaurant and forced her into her own car while brandishing a knife. Multiple law enforcement agencies, led by the Pennsylvania State Police, pursued the Defendant at high speeds to rescue the victim. Judge Binder praised the actions of the State Police and aptly noted the Defendant, \u201cendangered law enforcement, the victim, and the community at large.\u201d Chester County District Attorney Christopher de Barrena-Sarobe echoed those thoughts, saying \u201cThanks to the courage of law enforcement and the resilience of the victim, this Defendant will be spending years in state prison.\u201d<\/p>\n

Long-time District Attorney\u2019s Office Employee Retires<\/span><\/p>\n

After years of dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment, Office Administrator Cheryl Greener, has retired from the DA\u2019s Office after 38+ years. Cheryl is the longest serving employee in the history of the DA\u2019s Office. Over the years, she has been a mentor, problem-solver, and a source of steady guidance to everyone. Her ability to lead with both wisdom and compassion will always leave a lasting impression on those who knew her.<\/p>\n

Farewell to Judge Mincarelli<\/span><\/p>\n

January 2, 2025, served as Court of Common Pleas Judge Lou Mincarelli\u2019s final day on the bench.
