The agreement will be presented to the Board of School Directors for final approval at a Special Board Meeting on June 9, 2026, and, upon approval, will take effect on July 1, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>According to a statement issued by the district:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Throughout the negotiation process, both the district and the association engaged in productive, respectful, and good-faith discussions. The agreement is the result of a collaborative effort built on trust, professionalism, and a shared commitment to supporting students, employees, and the long-term success of the district.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Both parties worked intentionally to keep the needs of students at the forefront while balancing the interests of employees and the fiscal responsibilities of the school district. The successful completion of this agreement reflects the positive relationship that exists between the district and its teachers and demonstrates a collective commitment to providing the highest quality educational experience for all students.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Coatesville Area School District extends its sincere appreciation to the members of the CATA negotiating team, district administrators, Board representatives, legal counsel, and all individuals who contributed their time, expertise, and dedication throughout the process.
