Tymeir Miller has led the Red Raiders on more than one occaion this season and dropped 27 on the Eagles.<\/p><\/div>\n

DOWNINGTOWN–Coatesville head coach Tim Smith has had his story all year and he is stickin\u2019 to it.<\/p>\n

Basketball is a team game.<\/p>\n

Smith\u2019s diligence and practice routine has \u201cstuck\u201d on his very talented squad as they have run rough shot through the Ches-Mont League schedule that would make the bravest of gunslingers wince.<\/p>\n

In a season where it seems every game someone new steps to the foreground, on Friday it was Tymeir Miller who took his turn in the spotlight as he scored 10 of his game-high 27 points in the final period in which the Red Raiders went on a 10-1 run to secure a 78-67 Ches-Mont win over the Eagles.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s why it is called a team,\u201d said Smith. \u201cWe have had kids step up every game all year long, they all have confidence in each other that if one person does not come through another will. They feed off of each other and that\u2019s what makes this team so much fun to be around.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"Red<\/a>Again the Coatesville defense, which has been overlooked many times this season, was stout in the final quarter as they allowed Bishop Shanahan to convert on only one field goal attempt in the final frame.<\/p>\n

Leroy Hoggard posted 12 points for the visitors as and Ryan Conrad led the hosts Shanahan (3-9) with 24 points to compliment Desmond Pierce\u2019s 16- point tally.<\/p>\n
