Song earns Coatesville performer a win in interactive online radio contest<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Jiggley Jones of Coatesville was one of five winners of online radio interactive competition.<\/p><\/div>\n

A Coatesville singer-songwriter apparently hit a chord with listeners with a song about a guy who thinks he loves a girl he met once, and after chasing her all over in his mind, he meets another girl and the process repeats itself.<\/p>\n

\u201cAin\u2019t That Alright\u201d moved Jiggley Jones to a win in the 2nd Annual Graffiti Radio Songwriting Contest. \u00a0He will perform, along with the other four winners, at World Cafe Live at The Queen on May 16. The Queen is located at 500 N. Market St., Wilmington, De. The show starts at 7 p.m., and admission is $5 at the door, a news release said.<\/p>\n

“This is a well-deserved win for Jiggley,” said Jones’ manager, Michael Stover of MTS Management Group, adding that t about 30 artists competed. \u00a0“It’s great that the fans acknowledged his talent, by taking the time every day, to vote for him. \u00a0We’re very proud to represent this new voice of Americana.”<\/p>\n

The 2nd Annual Graffiti Radio Songwriting Contest was an online interactive competition. After a month of submissions and voting, the Graffiti listeners chose their top five artists\/bands via http:\/\/www.graffitiradio.com<\/a>. \u00a0The other winners are New Shields, The Gamilions, Orange Tiger and RKVC.<\/p>\n

Graffiti Radio is an HD radio station based in Wilmington that specializes in new music in genres ranging from dream pop to alt rock. Jones is a singer-songwriter whose debut EP, “No Spring Chicken,” is currently in the Top 50 of the Roots Music Report Americana chart. \u00a0In the past, his music has been used in MTV shows like “The Dennis Rodman Show.” \u00a0He will perform at B.B.
