The C3A Under the Big Tents event will be held this weekend, June 21 to June 23.<\/p><\/div>\n

This weekend, the Coatesville Area Arts Alliance, Inc. (C3A) invites residents to the Under the Big Tents event, a marketplace of arts and ideas and a summer solstice celebration featuring Camping with a View in the Wild West Wagontown.<\/p>\n

Two green and white striped circus tents are the focal points for a multi-dimensional-ring circus congregating on a high plateau in Chester County.<\/p>\n

Guests are invited to wander, relax and create their own Ringside Happening by bringing their work to show, tell, barter, or sell. All types of art are welcomed, from visual arts, music, crafts, poetry and business ideas to dance, storytelling, demos, and flea markets.<\/p>\n

The venue is eARTh, or everybody\u2019s ART home, a cultural center in a 1975 passive solar home on 16 acres and bordering a 100-acre park, located at 120 Reservoir Rd., West Caln Township, in Wagontown (19376).<\/p>\n

The property is also the home and gallery of arts businesspeople and C3A founders Greg Layton and Deborah Kates. The property is available to lease for other charity events, weddings and retreats.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a chance to take ownership of a delicious slice of Chester County and truly make it everybody\u2019s ART home.\u00a0 In a do-it-yourself spirit, people are encouraged to make their own mark, promote and charge what they want for it, or just slow down to catch up with life,\u201d said Kates, C3A vice president.<\/p>\n

From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, June 21, the event will include a performance by \u201cBollywood by Mitali,\u201d surprise guests, and a Summer Solstice Bonfire to praise for a bountiful summer.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, starting at noon, the festivities continue with regional multi-dimensional artist David Gerbstadt, Chester County artist Joe Boyle, Historian Suzee Gritz, grassroots jamband Couple Days, Alt-pop rock duo Lyra Project,<\/em>\u00a0Troy Ott\u2019s mobile egg gallery, and more guests.<\/p>\n

There will be food for sale throughout the event or guests are invited to bring their own picnic.<\/p>\n

General admission is $20 per car and general admission plus camping is $30 per car.<\/p>\n
