Shell casings found in 200 block of Charles Street Friday morning<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\"IMG_0486\"<\/a>Coatesville Police responded to the 200 block of Charles Street on Friday at 3:55 a.m. for a shots-fired complaint, Cpl. Brenden M. Boyle reported. Upon arrival, officers located shell casings, a vehicle that had been struck by a projectile, and possibly two houses that had also been struck. Anyone with any information is asked to contact police at 610-384-2300.<\/p>\n

A traffic stop led to drug charges against a 51-year-old Coatesville resident on Thursday at 2:26 a.m., Cpl. Brenden M. Boyle reported. Police said Grove, the vehicle\u2019s operator, was detained in the unit block of South Sixth Avenue and was found to be in possession of a controlled substance for which she did not possess a prescription. She was taken into custody, processed for drug and traffic offenses, and released on a summons, police said.<\/p>\n

\u00a0On Thursday at 4:30 p.m., police located Toye\u00a0Aaron\u00a0Jackson, 26, of Coatesville, in\u00a0800 block of East Lincoln Highway, who was wanted on drug charges, Officer Chris McCarthy reported.\u00a0Jackson was taken into custody without incident and held for arraignment, police said.<\/p>\n

Coatesville Police came into\u00a0contact\u00a0with\u00a0Audai\u00a0Dutton, 21, of Coatesville, who had a bench warrant for a probation violation,\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0300 block of East Lincoln Highway on Thursday at 11:05 p.m., Officer Kirt Guyer reported. Dutton\u00a0was\u00a0taken\u00a0into\u00a0custody,\u00a0transported\u00a0back\u00a0to\u00a0the station,\u00a0and released\u00a0to\u00a0constables, police said.<\/p>\n

Coatesville\u00a0Police\u00a0were\u00a0dispatched\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0Walgreens\u00a0Pharmacy in\u00a0the\u00a0800\u00a0block of\u00a0East\u00a0Lincoln\u00a0Highway\u00a0on\u00a0Thursday at 8:43 p.m. for a theft complaint, Cpl. Brenden M. Boyle reported. Upon investigation, police said Anthony\u00a0Story\u00a0Jr.,\u00a018, of Coatesville, had\u00a0attempted\u00a0to\u00a0leave\u00a0the<\/p>\n

store\u00a0with\u00a0an $18.99 bottle\u00a0of\u00a0male\u00a0enhancement\u00a0supplements\u00a0concealed\u00a0in\u00a0his\u00a0pocket, causing the store alarm to sound. Story was\u00a0taken\u00a0into\u00a0custody and\u00a0transported\u00a0to\u00a0the station where he was issued a non-traffic citation and released.<\/p>\n
