Main Street Future Focus & Community Showcase scheduled for Sept. 10<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\"Image<\/a>The Western Chester County Chamber of Commerce (WCCCC) is holding its Main Street Future Focus & Community Showcase on Sept. 10 from 7:30 to 10 a.m. at the Chester County Public Safety Training Facility, 137 Modena Road, South Coatesville, 19320.<\/p>\n

WCCCC\u2019s Regional Study – www.westernchestercountyfuturefocus.com<\/a> – is back in the forefront, a showcase for downtowns and villages with display tables highlighting the various projects and plans municipalities have for the future. A partner for the event is the PA\/NJ\/DE CCIM Chapter, which is made up of commercial realtors, brokers, developers and investors, a news release said.<\/p>\n

The speakers will include Heather Arnold: <\/b>Streetsense Director of Research & Analysis, Washington D.C.,<\/b> who will discuss Vibrant Streets,\u00a0(www.vibrantstreets.com<\/a>) an initiative to encourage successful \u2028neighborhood retail environments \u201cfrom the grassroots up;\u201d Eli Kahn: <\/b>E. Kahn Development Corporation (EKD), founder & principal, <\/b>who will talk about his experience developing a mixed-use portfolio of over three million square feet of office, industrial, retail and multi-family properties in the western Philadelphia suburbs; and E. Jean Krack: <\/b>Phoenixville borough manager, <\/b>who will focus on the importance of Main Street revitalization and developing collaboration \u2028between community leaders, government officials, and other stakeholders toward successful programs.<\/p>\n

Participation in the event will ensure knowledge about the \u00a0projects and plans \u00a0in the works for area communities. General admission tickets to the event are \u00a0$10 per person.
