Jonathan Shave reported. Police said officers responded to the 100 block of West Lincoln Highway at 5:51 p.m. and determined that Andrew Sabocsik, 67, had pointed a loaded shotgun at a neighbor while yelling racial slurs.<\/p>\n<p>Police said they recovered a firearm at the scene and Sabocsik was processed and held for video arraignment. Sabocsik was transported to Chester County Prison after failing to post $25,000 cash bail; a preliminary hearing is scheduled for Monday, court records said.<\/p>\n<p>A complaint about alleged drug activity in a blue vehicle led Coatesville police to the 1000 block of Samson Street on Thursday at 8:12 a.m., Officer Miguel Ortiz reported. Upon arrival, officers located the vehicle and detected an odor for marijuana coming from both the interior of driver\u2019s side of vehicle and the driver, Robert Abdala, 20, of Coatesville, police said. Officers also found drug packaging and green vegetable matter in plain view on the driver\u2019s door arm rest of the vehicle, police said. Abdala was taken into custody, arraigned, and posted 10 percent of $1,500 bail; a preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 18, court records said.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Officers were dispatched to the area of North Fourth Avenue and East Chestnut Street on Monday at 8:10 p.m. for a stolen-vehicle complaint, Cpl. Ken Michels reported. Sometime between the hours of 6 and 8 p.m., someone stole a 2010 silver Hyundai Elantra &#8211; Pa. registration DPX5377 &#8211; with the keys inside, police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact Coatesville police at 610-384-2300.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday at 1 a.m., Cpl. Jonathan Shave observed Tangelia Clark, who had several traffic warrants, at the Turkey Hill North, police said. Clark, 35, of Coatesville, was under the influence of a controlled substance to a degree in which she was a danger to herself, police said. She was taken into custody and held for summary arraignment, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Officers conducted a vehicle stop in the 100 block of East Diamond Street on Tuesday at 12:17 a.m. and came in contact with Virginia Tharp, 39, of Coatesville, who had an active traffic warrant, Cpl. Ken Michels and Officer Rob Kuech reported. Tharp was taken into custody to await arraignment, police said.<\/p>\n<p>At a sobriety checkpoint at North First Avenue and Diamond Street on Sunday at 12:25 a.m., state police from the Embreeville barracks said Nathan Simmers, 20, of Coatesville, was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped. Police said he was arrested for underage consumption of alcohol after troopers determined he was under the influence. The driver, Zachary Lafond, 20, of Coatesville, was\u00a0 arrested for driving under the influence and related offenses, police said.<\/p>\n<p>At the same sobriety checkpoint, state police arrested Rafael Lopez, 26, of West Chester, at 2:10 a.m. Sunday for driving his 2001 Nissan Maxima while under the influence, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Jacqueline S. Carey, 31, of Cochranville, was arrested for driving under the influence on Sunday at 2:44 a.m. during a traffic stop on westbound U.S. 30, west of Rt. 322, in Caln Township, state police said.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday at 2:30 a.m., state police initiated a traffic stop on eastbound U.S. 30, south of Rt. 340, in Caln Township, police said. Jonathan M. Williams, 29, of Parkesburg, was determined to be driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.<\/p>\n<p>A traffic violation on eastbound U.S. 30, west of Rt. 340 in Caln Township, on Friday at 1:15 a.m. led to a traffic stop for Eric M.
