The victim said lsha Shabazz had come onto the property, lit a candle, and threw it at the front window, police said. The candle shattered the window and landed on the porch while Shabazz fled, police said, adding that a warrant was issued for her arrest.<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday at 2:36 p.m., Officer Joseph Thompson stopped a vehicle for speeding and window obstruction at Walnut Street and Sixth Avenue, police said. Upon investigation, the driver, Travis Mack, 33, of Coatesville, was found to be in possession of a Ruger 40 firearm and small amount of marijuana, police said. Following arraignment, Mack was transported to Chester County Prison after failing to post $50,000 cash bail, court records said.<\/p>\n<p>Cpl. Jonathan Shave came into contact with James Alston, 58, of Coatesville on Wednesday at 8:12 p.m. during a traffic stop in the 100 block of Strode Avenue, police said. Alston was found to be under the influence of alcoholic beverages, failed field sobriety tests, and possessed drug paraphernalia, police said. Alston refused to take a blood test, and was released on a summons, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Coatesville Police were dispatched to the unit block of South 12th Avenue on Wednesday at 12:04 p.m. for a burglary complaint, Cpl. Brenden M. Boyle reported. A vacant home had been broken into, and copper pipes and wiring were stolen, police said.
