Coatesville Youth Lacrosse will be welcoming teams from across Chester County to compete in the Red Raider Rumble on Sunday May 22nd at North Brandywine Middle School 256 Reeceville Rd, Coatesville, PA.
One of the highlights of this year’s tournament will be the addition of the Harlem Lacrosse and Leadership team. The HLL (www.harlemlacrosse.org) is a non-profit designed to provide academic and behavioral help for at risk boys and girls in Harlem New York. The HHL is scheduled to bring approximately 30 players. Not only will the HLL kids compete with the talented players from Chester County, the visitors will also spend an extra day with host families in Coatesville to help build the bonds of sportsmanship.
Rob Tompkins, President of Coatesville Youth Lacrosse says “It’s not only an excellent opportunity for our kids to learn from players from around the country, it’s also a perfect time for the community to come out and see what the youth from Coatesville are developing here at home.”
Coatesville Youth Lacrosse (CYL) is a volunteer run organization whose goal is to provide a positive and fun lacrosse experience for both boys and girls between the age of 5 and 15. We strive to develop and maintain a program where every participant, regardless of initial skill level, has the opportunity to learn the game; develop and improve skills; and be prepared for the next level of lacrosse.
