Police said Coatesville man possessed crack cocaine when taken into custody
On Sunday, Jan. 26, at 8:46 p.m., Coatesville Officers Jose Colon and Ryan Corcoran took Richard Hardy, 49, of Coatesville into custody in the 700 block of East Lincoln Highway on a warrant, police said. Hardy, who was in possession of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia, was also charged with drug offenses, police said. Hardy was video-arraigned and released on $1,000 unsecured bail to await a Feb. 26 preliminary hearing, court records said.
A traffic stop in the 400 block of Walnut Street on Sunday, Jan. 26, at 7:33 p.m. resulted in an arrest, Det. Shannon Miller reported. The driver, Andrae G. Reason, 34, of Coatesville, was found to have a criminal warrant and taken into custody for processing, police said.
