‘Ride for Heroes’ benefit to traverse southern part of county
The second annual “Ride for Heroes” – a 60-mile, scenic journey through southern Chester County for a worthy cause – will be held Sunday.
Sign-in will occur from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Government Services Center, 601 Westtown Rd., West Chester. Motorcycles will leave at 11:30 a.m., following a route that will return them to West Chester, ending at Benny’s Pizza.
The $25 registration fee includes a donation to the Chester County Hero Fund, two slices of pizza, a drink and a gift. Additional passengers are $5.
John DiBuonaventuro, the Hero Fund president, said the group is “very thankful to Benny’s Pizza” for its sponsorship and for organizing the event. For more information, email bennysclassicpizza@gmail.com or call 610-696-0754.
