Clue sought in Valley double slaying

PoliceTapeVALLEY — Local law enforcement is seeking clues to who shot and killed two Coatesville men as they sat in a minivan, Saturday evening on Nichols Avenue, Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan said.

Township police responded to a report of shots fired just after 7 p.m. Saturday evening and found  Clayton Woodward, Jr., 32, and Terrance Craig-White (a/k/a “Science” and “Syence Hendrix”), 27, had been shot while a minivan parked on the street. Both were pronounced dead on the scene.

No other details were released on the incident.

The killings represent the second fatal shooting in the immediate area this month. Five Coatesville men face charges in the Oct. 4 killing of another man on Fourth Avenue.

The Chester County Detectives, Valley Police Department, and Coatesville Police Department are investigating this case.  Anybody with information about the incident is asked to contact Chester County Detective Kristen Lund at 610-344-6866.
