EAST FALLOWFIELD — Harrison Senior Living (HSL), the family operated senior services provider, announced the appointment of Harrison Godwin Saunders as Chief Executive Officer and President, Monday. Saunders is the grandson of the company’s founders, Dr. James P. Harrison Jr. and the late Katherine S. Harrison.

“We’re thrilled to see Harrison (Saunders) lead the company,” says Dr. James P. Harrison Jr., who still serves as consultant for Harrison Senior Living. “I could not be more confident in his abilities.”

“I’m energized by the opportunity to guide our organization into the future,” says Saunders. “We have an excellent group of professionals on our executive leadership team and many passionate caregivers in our communities. The long-term care industry is rapidly changing and I am certain we have the resources to continue as a leader in family oriented healthcare for seniors.”

Additional new executive team improvements include:

  • William “Bill” Hines, former Director of Dietary, Housekeeping and Physical Plant programs since 2013 has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer.  He brings significant long-term care experience to the organization.
  • Recently appointed Chief Financial Officer, Jim Crishock, offers more than 30 years of fiscal management experience for multi-site, long-term care organizations.
  • Bruce McNamee, who joined Harrison Senior Living in early 2015 as Corporate Human Resources Director, continues to build and refine the human resource departments of all five HSL communities, with an ever-expanding role in operations.

The HSL executive leadership team is supported by essential team members at the company’s East Fallowfield, Pennsylvania headquarters, and by key administrators at each of the company’s five locations.
