COATESVILLE — Rep. Harry Lewis Jr. (R-Chester) invites students, parents, other community members and the media to attend the school and community safety discussion he is hosting on Wednesday, June 8, at 6 p.m. The forum will be held at Coatesville City Hall, One City Hall Place, Coatesville.

“As your state representative, I take the safety of the students in our community very seriously. The events involving students in the Coatesville Area School District are deeply upsetting, but together we can discard the inflammatory emotions and move toward a solution,” Lewis said.

Lewis is hosting the forum following reports of violence at a local high school in an effort to promote a safer atmosphere for the students as well as in the community.

“All students deserve to receive their education in a calm setting, and the recent events highlight the need for all schools to remain committed to fostering a healthy learning environment,” Lewis added.

There is no need to RSVP for the forum, but residents are welcome to call Lewis’s office in Downingtown at (610) 269-1289 with any questions.
