CALN — Township police are seeking a knife-wielding robber who victimized a township resident outside of their Jennifer Drive home, Late Monday.
Police say they are investigating an armed robbery that occurred on June 20 at about 10 p.m. in the 300 block of Jennifer Drive. The victim was approached by a suspect wielding a knife who had been hidden in bushes outside of the victim’s residence. The suspect demanded money and jewelry. The victim complied and was not injured during the incident.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male about 5’10” tall weighing about 160 pounds, wearing sunglasses, a blue shirt, khaki cargo shorts, and a black unzipped hoody with the hood up. The suspect entered the passenger side of a “beat up” blue vehicle (possibly a Toyota) and was last seen traveling eastbound on Lincoln Highway from North Caln Road. The vehicle had rear passenger side damage.
The Caln Police Department reminds residents to be vigilant regarding personal and residential safety. Keep driveways and walkways well-lit and the use of motion detecting lights is encouraged. Also, keep shrubbery pruned back and be aware of areas that may provide concealment.
