DOWNINGTOWN — As part of his continued efforts to discuss important state issues with residents, Rep. Harry Lewis Jr. (R-Chester) invites people living in the 74th Legislative District to participate in a coffee chat on Thursday, Oct. 27, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at his district office, 131 Wallace Road, Unit No. 14, Downingtown.
“Even as the legislative session is coming to a close, we are working to pass important bills that will benefit people living in the Commonwealth,” Lewis said. “Because any legislation not signed into law at the end of session will have to again begin the process of being drafted – passed in committee, House and Senate; and signed by the governor – now is an important time to act. Residents are encouraged to join me to learn more about these bills and to share any state-related concerns they may have.”
An update on issues affecting the Commonwealth will be provided, and the representative will answer questions on state-related matters. Coffee and light refreshments will be served.
