State police from the Embreeville barracks reported the following charges and citations during the past several weeks.

Police said four individuals were arrested for driving under the influence: James Chris Gauss, 25, of Downingtown, who was stopped Aug. 7 for a traffic violation on Norwood Road south of the Rt. 30 bypass in East Caln Township; Bryan Kenneth Bonomo, 21, of Downingtown, who was detained Aug. 10 on Rt. 30 in Coatesville;

Public drunkenness charges were filed against Lawrence Joseph White, 46, of Downingtown, after he was walking on the Rt. 30 bypass in Valley Township while intoxicated on Aug. 12, police said.

Troopers investigated  three vehicles crashes, police said. One occurred on the entrance ramp from Lancaster Avenue to the Rt. 30 bypass Aug. 11 in East Caln Township at 7:23 p.m. Police said Kimberly A. Slokom, 26, of Downingtown, was cited after she failed to negotiate a curve on the ramp, lost control of her 2007 Honda, traveled across a grass area, both westbound lanes and struck a concrete barrier.

A two-car crash Aug. 13 at 2:40 p.m. on the Rt. 30 bypass eastbound resulted in minor injuries to occupants of a 2001 Audi A4. Police said Sukpreet Singh, 19, crashed into the rear of a 1999 Mack RD series dumptruck and was dragged 300 feet with the hood of the  Audi trapped under the truck. Singh and his passenger, Crystal Donohue, 26, both of Downingtown, sustained minor injuries but declined hospital transport, police said.

Finally, police said a three-vehicle crash occurred Aug. 20 at 3:59 p.m. on the Rt. 30 bypass in Caln Township. Russell T. Pearse, 48, of Oxford, was driving a 1998 Chevrolet van westbound and was unable to avoid hitting a 2012 Kia Sorento that was stopped in heavy traffic, an impact that forced the Kia to collide into a 2012 Honda Pilot.
