To stay healthy, give it your best shot

Free flu vaccines will be available Tuesday at city health center

To increase access to good health, free flu shots will be available for community members – regardless of whether they have insurance – on Tuesday at the Coatesville Center for Community Health from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The shots will be provided by the Chester County Health Department for those who are unable to travel to West Chester. The shots are available for adults and children, who must be accompanied by a parent. Most schools are providing flu shots for students, but parents of preschool children may want to take advantage of this clinic, organizers said.

Those who would like to schedule a shot should bring their immunization record if possible and register in advance by calling 610-383-4612 or emailing Kathryn@coatesvillecenter.org.

The center is located at 1001 E. Lincoln Hwy., across from Turkey Hill. Bilingual services are available.
