Scheduled roadwork may cause traffic delays

Area road projects could cause traffic delays, says PennDOT.

PennDOT projects will affect Coatesville, surrounding townships

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation issued a bulletin today on upcoming and ongoing area roadwork that may cause traffic backups.

Work will begin Monday on Lincoln Highway in Sadsbury, Valley and West Caln Townships for raised pavement marker installation. One lane will be closed between Rt. 82 (First Avenue) and Rt. 10 (Octorara Trail from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Oct. 3.

Construction will continue on three other projects.  Ramp installation between Walnut Street and Modena Road in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act will result in lane restrictions  from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Oct. 12 in Coatesville.

Utility installation will cause lane restrictions between Caln Road and Seltzer Avenue on U.S. 30 in Caln Township through Nov. 9.

And road widening on Rt. 10 in Sadsbury Township may necessitate lane closures between U.S. 30 and Hershey Lane through Oct. 31.
