First Harvest Festival to debut at Farmers’ Market

Family-friendly activities will range from pony rides to produce shopping

Here are some new reasons to take the whole clan to visit the popular Coatesville Farmers’ Market this weekend: pony rides, scarecrow building and pumpkin painting.

Salus Chiropractic, a family wellness studio, is hosting its first-ever Harvest Festival on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Farmers’ Market in Gateway Park, adjacent to the intersection of Lincoln Highway and Rt. 82.

The festivities will include a Senior Center apple pie bake-off, face painting, hot apple cider, and pony rides by Locust Lane Riding Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. In addition, the Farmers’ Market will feature its rotating assortment of local vendors with fresh produce, baked goods, and savory cuisine.
