New automotive talk show at home in PA

Automotive photographer Michael Furman, and Classic Auto Mall Podcast host, Stewart Howden

MORGANTOWN — The Classic Auto Mall, a 336,000 square-foot facility in Morgantown, Berks County that consigns specialty automobiles, has embarked on a new venture…show biz!  Beginning last fall, the Classic Auto Mall Podcast hit the internet.

Stewart Howden, the company’s president, envisioned a broadcast studio in the facility from which to produce an automotive talk and information program.  In the quick and efficient fashion Classic Auto Mall has become known for, the studio was built, a production team was hired, and the show began broadcasting in September 2021.

“I see this as a natural outgrowth of our business,” said Howden who has been at the helm since its opening in 2018.  “Each of these cars has a story and the personalities in the automotive industry and hobby lend themselves to a show like ours.”

With close to 1,000 classic and antique cars under the roof of the former Manufacturer’s Outlet Mall, there’s more than enough content to fill shows for years to come.

As a bonus, the studio is visible from the mall and a speaker transmits the show in real time to the patrons browsing the facility.  Admission is free (Classic Auto Mall only requests your email upon entrance) so it’s rare to find the place empty; people can watch the interview program or simply tune in at any time online.

The show first airs on AmericasWebRadio.com on Saturdays at 9am after which it is uploaded as a podcast at that website as well as Spotify, GooglePlay, and other podcast platforms.  Stewart has already interviewed some notable individuals including world-renowned automotive photographer Michael Furman and Steve Moskowitz, the president of the Antique Automobile Club of America.
