Edna Mae Marsh
Edna Mae (Gilbert) Marsh, age 65, of Turtle Creek, formerly of Penn Hills and East Earl, PA passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023. Edna lost her fight for life due to a rare form of blood cancer after her rejection of dialysis treatments.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Barton Marsh; her daughter, Christina Marie (partner, Daniel Kurtz) Conover; granddaughters, Tiffany Amber and Ashley Marie; great granddaughters, Giselle Omani and Alayah Essence; siblings, Charles Edward (Kim) Gilbert, Mary Ellen (partner, Terry Hiatt) Gonzalez, and Susan Lynn (Joseph) Shimer. Edna is predeceased by her parents Chester Jacob Gilbert, Jr. and Margaret Marie Hackman.
Edna was a 1975 high school graduate of Octorara and was a volunteer fireman in Atglen, PA throughout the 1970s-80s. She worked in the precasting department for National Precision Casting, Co. in Frasier, PA and later on worked for Conestoga Wood in East Earl, PA.
Friends will be received Tuesday, January 31, 2023, 1-4 PM at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC., 118 Shaw Avenue, Turtle Creek (412-823-1950), where a service will conclude visitation. Interment will be private.
