Police said he had phony IDs, drugs and open container

On Monday, a police response to a reported  disturbance in the 300 block of East Lincoln Highway led to multiple charges for a 23-year-old Oxford man, police said.

Officer Rob Kuech and Cpl. Ken Michels observed Ivan S. Calixto on the sidewalk in front of the Kool bar with an open 12-ounce can of an alcoholic beverage, police said. When questioned, Calixto allegedly produced a fraudulent ID, police said, adding that further investigation revealed that he had a second ID that did not belong to him.

Calixto was also found to be in possession of two partially smoked marijuana cigarettes, said police. He faces charges that include identity theft, public drunkenness, disorderly conduct, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Court records said Calixto was taken to Chester County Prison after failing to post $10,000 cash bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 3.
