Volunteers sought for citywide beautification effort
Residents are invited to participate in a city clean-up effort to celebrate Earth Day.
Celebrate Earth Day by dishing out the dirt and layering on the paint during a city beautification day sponsored by the Coatesville Community Policing Committee, the Coatesville Parks and Recreation Commission, and Coatesville Savings Bank.
On Saturday, starting at noon, participants will meet at the bank, 185 E. Lincoln Highway, for the Earth Day Planting and Painting Extravaganza. Bring your garden gloves and join other like-minded citizens in an effort to spruce up the city.
