Police said both had outstanding warrants
Coatesville officers took two men with outstanding warrants into custody on Tuesday in separate cases without incident, police said.
At 4:18 p.m., Officer David Marquette made contact with Benjamin Williams, 30, of Coatesville, in a vehicle in the unit block of South Sixth Avenue, police said. Williams had a felony aggravated assault warrant, police said.
Joseph Hendricks, 26, of Coatesville, who had a felony warrant, was observed walking in the 700 block of East Lincoln Highway at 12:57 p.m. by Officer Sylvester Earle, police said. As a result of this arrest, the state Board of Probation and Parole entered a detainer for violating the terms of his probation/parole, police said.
