Chester County Commissioners Ryan Costello (from left), Terence Farrell and Kathi Cozzone will hold their second “on the road” meeting on Thursday in Nottingham.

If your work schedule has hampered your insight into the inner workings of county government by precluding your attendance at late-morning meetings, the Chester County commissioners are offering a solution: night meetings at a variety of venues.

On Thursday, the commissioners will convene at the Herr’s Snack Factory Visitors Center in Nottingham at 7 p.m. The meeting marks the second “on the road” session for 2013, and it replaces the commissioners’ regular meeting, which had been scheduled for Thursday morning.

In addition to discussing and approving county government business, the commissioners will recognize local organizations and citizens who are making contributions to Chester County.  Residents are encouraged to attend the meeting, which will also be videotaped and posted on Chester County’s website, www.chesco.org.

The Herr’s Visitors Center auditorium is located at 20 Herr Drive, Nottingham. Last month, the commissioners met in East Vincent Township, and last year they held a session in West Brandywine Township.
