Officer was investigating defendants’ after-hours presence
The cemetery was closed. So when Officer Brenden Boyle saw a vehicle, he approached it, prompting the driver to attempt to avoid him; instead, he struck the officer’s car in the process, police said.
The accident at Fairview Cemetery on Saturday at 12:45 a.m. was investigated by state police; Coatesville police cited the driver, Michael M. Cintron, and his passenger, Tammy Twaddell, both of Coatesville, for trespassing, police said
Officer Jonathan Shave observed Milton Eduardo Idrovo, 40, of Coatesville, driving erratically on Saturday at 11:43 p.m. in the 800 block of Lincoln Highway, police said. After failing field sobriety tests and refusing to submit to a blood test, Idrovo was arrested for driving under the influence, police said.
On Sunday at 12:27 a.m., Officer Rob Kuech followed up on a complaint in the 100 block of Strode Avenue, police said. Jakia Buchanan, 31, of Coatesville, was charged with criminal mischief after an argument allegedly prompted her to kick in a front door, causing the glass to break, police said.
Responding to a complaint about suspected drug activity in the 200 block of Union Street on Friday at 3:24 p.m., Cpl. Jeff Ingemie arrested Hector Negron, 41, of Coatesville, for possession of a small amount of marijuana, police said.
Officer Jonathan Shave observed Lissette Buenrostro walking in the area of 600 East Lincoln Highway on Saturday at 4:34 p.m., police said. She was taken into custody on a retail theft warrant from West Sadsbury Township, police said.
Henry Speller, 28, of Coatesville, was taken into custody on Saturday at 11:50 a.m., Officer Kirt Guyer reported. Speller had an active warrant from state police for terroristic threats, police said.
Coatesville police assisted state constables in taking Lakera Allen, 26, of Coatesville into custody for outstanding summary warrants on Friday at 8:55 a.m., Cpl. Jeff Ingemie reported.
While investigating a drug complaint in the 200 block of Union Avenue on Friday at 3:24 p.m., Officer Kirt Guyer determined that Alan Carter, 19, had an active juvenile warrant, police said. He was taken into custody and released to constables, police said.
