During May, Lynda Pitcherella, a local watercolor artist, will be displaying a collection of giclee prints of her watercolors at Salus Chiropractic Studio in Thorndale, where the public is invited to attend a reception on Saturday, May 18, from noon to 2 p.m.

Pitcherella, a 1980 graduate of Temple University’s Tyler School of Art, returned to creating art in 1998 after a hiatus.  Since then, she has been painting, sculpting, knitting, weaving and working in fabric. She lives in Romansville with her husband and collies and finds inspiration in her surroundings, including her gardens, as well as the Shore.

Dr. Matthew Lapp is the owner of Salus Chiropractic Studio and hopes that by hosting artists in his office, members of the community will have an opportunity to experience something new.  At the reception, which will include light refreshments, the public is encouraged to interact with the artists and ask questions.
