Victim said motorist he was assisting knocked him to ground
A man attempting to assist a motorist with a flat tire ended up getting flattened himself, Coatesville Police Chief Jack Laufer reported. Laufer said the victim was at the Shell gas station at Rt. 82 and Lumber Street on Saturday at 11:24 a.m. when the man he was trying to help suddenly declined assistance and knocked him to the ground before fleeing north on Rt. 82 in a Buick.
Coatesville police responded to the 500 block of East Harmony Street on Saturday at 8:25 p.m. for a disturbance, Officer Paul Antonucci reported. As officers were speaking to Jacoya Brazzle, 25, of Coatesville, Tekeesha Lovelace, 31, of Coatesville, approached with a board that she refused to drop, police said. Both women claimed the other had instigated fisticuffs, but neither was injured, police said, adding that both were cited for disorderly conduct.
