Author of book on child slavery will speak at July 1 meeting
The Coatesville NAACP will hold its next meeting on Saturday, July 1, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Coatesville’s City Hall.
The public is invited to attend and participate in an ongoing effort to empower the community through volunteer activities, training, and education, officials said.
Topics for discussion will include plans for Chester County and the crisis of human trafficking. Presentations will be made by Chester County Commissioner Terence Farrell and Carol Hart Metzker, author of Facing the Monster: How One Person Can Fight Child Slavery.
