Police charged his female passenger with providing a false ID
On Friday at 12:14 a.m., Coatesville Cpl. Jonathan Shave stopped a green Toyota for a vehicle violation, police said. During the stop, the driver, Jason Bruno, 23, of Exton, was found to be in possession of marijuana and was arrested. A passenger, Michelle Jarmon, 24, of Coatesville, was arrested for providing authorities with a false name, police said. Bruno was processed and released on a summons, and Jarmon was processed and held for video arraignment, police said.
Officer Paul Antonucci responded to the 500 block of East Diamond Street at 3:41 a.m. on Friday for a report of gunshots being heard, police said. No casings were located, and no sign of injuries or damage was found, police said. The incident remains under investigation, and anyone with information is asked to call police at 610-384-2300.
A 51-year-old Coatesville resident was charged with terroristic threats after an investigation, Officer Paul Antonucci reported. The victim told police she got into an argument in July 1 at 7:35 p.m. in the 500 block of East Chestnut Street with Michael Roberts, who allegedly threatened to kill her, police said.
A traffic stop on Rt. 82, just north of the High Bridge on Thursday at 2:10 p.m. led to the arrest of Mark Luke Valentin of Elverson, Officer Chris McCarthy reported. Police said Valentin, taken into custody on a parole violation warrant, was also cited for operating an unregistered vehicle and driving with a suspended license, police said.
On July 5 at 9:41 a.m. Officer Jose Colon responded to the 400 block of Maple Avenue for a theft-from-vehicle report, police said. The victim’s burgundy Hyundai Sorento had been broken into, police said, adding that the stolen items included a black leather wallet containing $170 and identification cards, a silver Precision Dell laptop computer, a black men’s watch with white gold trim, and a black compact .40-caliber Taurus semi-automatic handgun.
