Officer Kirt Guyer responded to a reported altercation in the 100 block of North Seventh Avenue on Saturday at 2:50 a.m., police said. Gerard Geter, 23, of Coatesville, was observed in a confrontation with the victim and arrested for simple assault and related offenses, police said.
Alfredo Olverci, 29, of Coatesville, was driving without a license and under the influence in the 1200 block of Stirling Street on Friday at 9:41 p.m., Officer Stephen Galletta reported. Olverci, who was observed driving too slow for conditions without the use of turning signals, failed field sobriety tests and was transported to the station for arraignment, police said.
Michael Morales, 25, of Coatesville, was arrested for simple assault after a physical altercation near South First Avenue and East Harmony Street on Saturday at 1:49 a.m., Officer Stephen Galletta reported. Morales, who allegedly threw the victim to the ground and choked her, was taken into custody and held for arraignment, police said.
On Friday at 1:34 p.m., Corey Stanley, 18, of Coatesville, turned himself in to Cpl. Ken Michels at the police station for a criminal warrant, police said. Stanley was video-arraigned and released on $5,000 unsecured bail, police said.
