Organizers are looking for help to recruit volunteers for Aug. 17
Mark your calendars: Traipsing to the store to get supplies is not the only back-to-school need.
On Saturday, Aug. 17, Coatesville’s Fourth Annual Back-to-School Clean-Up will be held. Sponsored by he Coatesville Parks and Recreation Commission and the Community Policing Committee, the effort aims to create a clean, safe environment for returning students.
The initiative is partnering with the Coatesville Youth Initiative’s Recycling Event so that recyclable items will be donated to that effort, combining city beautification with environmental stewardship.
Organizers are seeking as many participants as possible and asking resident to spread the word among groups, churches, and neighborhoods. The clean-up team will meet at City Hall at 9 a.m. in the Harmony Street parking lot.
