Police: Traffic stop leads to warrant arrest

 

IMG_0486A traffic stop in 600 block of East Lincoln Highway on Wednesday at 3:17 p.m. led to a warrant arrest, Coatesville Officer Rob Kuech reported. Aaron Humphrey, 29, of Coatesville, was turned over to constables and transported to district court for arraignment, police said.

On Wednesday at 1:03 p.m., officers observed William Henson  walking in the 500 block of Olive Street, Officer Rob Kuech reported. Henson, 21, of Coatesville, was taken into custody on a bench warrant and a criminal warrant and transported to Chester County Prison by constables.

A man wanted for armed robbery turned himself in at the police station on Wednesday at 11:20 a.m., Cpl. Ken Michels reported. Raijon V. Redd, 18, of Coatesville was video-arraigned and remanded to Chester County Prison after failing to post $50,000 cash bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Monday,court records said.

On Friday at 3 p.m., troopers from the Embreeville barracks responded to a two-vehicle crash on the Rt. 322 off-ramp of U.S. 30 in Caln Township, state police said. A 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Emily N. Willow, 20, of Honey Brook, rear-ended a 1996 Toyota 4-Runner that was stopped at a yield sign attempting to merge into traffic, police said. Both vehicles were damaged, and the Toyota driver was transported to Paoli Hospital for neck pain, police said. Willow was cited for following too closely, police said.
