Coatesville man accused of indecent exposure

 

IMG_0485A 68-year-old Parkesburg woman got an unpleasant surprise on Friday at 1:50 p.m. when a man exposed himself in the unit block of North Fifth Avenue, Coatesville police said. Justin T. Griest, 27, of Coatesville, was taken into custody in the 600 block of Lumber Street and charged with indecent exposure, Officer Jose Colon reported.

On Friday at 8:30 p.m., Cpl. Jonathan Shave responded to the 5th Avenue Grocery Store for a retail theft, police said. After speaking with employees, Shave learned that two men entered the store and stole a $2.50 bottle of iced tea before fleeing, police said.

After police responded to a disturbance on Saturday at 12:13 a.m. in the 300 block of Valley Road, Cpl. Jonathan Shave cited Johnesha Teel, 38, of Coatesville, for criminal mischief and harassment, police said. Teel allegedly threw expensive china in a residence and also struck the victim, police said.

On Saturday at 2:10 a.m., Cpl. Jonathan Shave responded to the 700 block of East Chestnut Street for a criminal-mischief complaint, police said. The victim said an unknown person shattered a window at a residence, police said.

Cpl. Larry Cooper cited Brian R. Marsh, 50, of Coatesville, for a violation of the city’s open container law, police said. Marsh was observed drinking an alcoholic beverage in the 300 block of East Lincoln Highway on Friday at 3:49 p.m., police said.

A resident of the 100 block of Strode Avenue told police on Friday at 6:50 a.m. that her vehicle, which was parked overnight in the block, sustained damage to the antenna, front passenger’s side fender and rear hatch door, Det. Shannon Miller reported.
