70 feet of copper pipe reported stolen from residence

Image 2On Tuesday at 6:43 p.m., Cpl. Jonathan Shave responded to the 100 block of South Fifth Avenue for a burglary report, police said. The property owner came to the residence and discovered an unknown actor entered the house and stole approximately 70 feet of copper pipe, police said. The theft is under investigation, and anyone with information is asked to contact Shave at 610-384-2300.

On Monday at 2:37 p.m., Coatesville Cpl. Jeffrey Ingemie conducted a pedestrian stop in the unit block of East Lincoln Highway on Jason Ortiz, 28, of Coatesville, who had a criminal warrant, police said. Ortiz was transported to the station, arraigned, and released on $5,000 unsecured bail, police said.

Cpl. Jonathan Shave conducted a vehicle stop on a Chevrolet sedan for a traffic violation on Tuesday at 11:26 p.m., police said. Tavon Bookman, 22, of Coatesville, and Lloyd irons, 20, of Allentown, were both arrested on traffic warrants, police said.

On Tuesday at 9:50 a.m., Ricardo Perez, 37, of Coatesville, surrendered to Cpl. Jeffrey Ingemie at the police station on an assault warrant, police said. Perez was processed, arraigned, and released on $5,000 unsecured bail.

Troopers from the Embreeville barracks arrested Ronald Domenick Deflorio, 32, of Coatesville, for suspected driving under the influence after a traffic stop on westbound U.S. 30 at Reeceville Road in Caln Township on Saturday at 1:16 a.m., state police said.
