A 12-year-old Coatesville boy unlocked the front door of an auto body shop and grabbed cash and a vehicle Tuesday, state police said today.
Police from the Embreeville barracks said the youth, who was not identified because of his age, took the vehicle and $64.50 from a shop in the 1800 block of Strasburg Road. He allegedly drove into West Chester, where he was apprehended by borough police in a McDonald’s parking lot, state police said, adding that charges are pending.
