‘No Spring Chicken’ continues tour

Coatesville area artist to appear online and at Delaware festival

Area singer-songwriter Jiggley Jones continues to get appetizing   exposure for his chicken. On Sunday, the East Fallowfield Township resident will be the guest on the new Totally TV Nation show at 9 p.m.

Promoting his current Top 3 Roots Music Report Americana chart  EP, “No Spring Chicken,” Jones will appear on the show, which features a one-hour journey into the world of TV, movies and entertainment news and reviews on VOCNation.com, a news release said.

On Sept. 20, Jones will bring his “No Spring Chicken” tour to the 2013 Dewey Beach Music Conference. He will perform at midnight at Port; the lineup, which starts at 9 p.m., also includes Christina LaRocca, Rodger Delaney, and the Quixote Project. MTS Management Group, which represents Jones, said in a news release that it is a contender for Management Company of the Year in the inaugural 2013 International Music and Entertainment Association (IMEA) awards. The nominees, who also include Jones (for music video and well as songwriter of the year), were selected from nominee submissions, by an anonymous Nominating Committee, comprised of industry pros. Winners in each category will be determined by the Voting Committee and a weighted fan vote.

Fan voting, which began Wednesday, will conclude Oct. 1 at http://imeaawards.com/vote/. The 2013 IMEA Awards show will take place on Nov. 2, at The Paramount Arts Center in Ashland, Ky.
