Police said two men, one with weapon, stole cell phone, wallet
On Monday at 1:03 a.m., police responded to a complaint about a gunpoint robbery in the 700 block of East Lincoln Highway, Officer Jose Colon reported. Police said the victim gave the following description of the suspects: two black males, one thinly built in his early 20s armed with a black handgun, about 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-10, wearing a tan hoodie with white letters in the front; and a thinly built male 17 to 20 years old, with light facial hair, wearing a black hoodie. Police said an iPhone 5 with a red and black case, a wallet containing a green card and other IDs, were taken. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call police at 610-384-2300.
Police came into contact with Drevon Echols, 18, of Coatesville, in the area of Pansey and White Alley, Cpl. Larry Cooper reported. Echols was taken into custody on 21 summary warrants and housed until he could be arraigned, police said.
On Monday at about 1:15 a.m., police were called to the 300 block of West Lincoln Highway for a disturbance, Officer Chris McCarthy reported. Upon arrival, police said they determined that Kristin Marie Jones, of Coatesville, was intoxicated, and she was cited for disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, and scattering trash after she smashed a glass object in the roadway.
Officer Chris McCarthy took Eric L. Gibbs, 20, of Coatesville into custody on Sunday at 11:58 p.m. at a residence in the 600 block of East Lincoln Highway on an assault warrant from Valley Township Police, police said.
Police were dispatched to the unit block of South Fifth Avenue on Sunday at 4:05 p.m. for a retail-theft complaint, Cpl. Brenden M. Boyle reported. A black female approximately 21 years old left a business without paying for several items valued at $8.50, police said, adding that an investigation is continuing.
Police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Saturday at 3:23 p.m. at South First Avenue and Oak Street, Cpl. Brenden M. Boyle reported. A 2002 Honda Accord was traveling south on South First Avenue when it rear-ended a 2001 Ford Crown Victoria stopped in the travel lane, attempting to make a left turn onto Oak Street. Three occupants in the Crown Victoria were transported to Brandywine Hospital, police said. The driver of the Honda, Indigo Tyson, 21, of Coatesville, who sustained cuts to her hand, was cited for driving with a suspended driver’s license, police said.
A criminal-mischief complaint drew police to the 600 block of Victoria Drive on Sunday at 9:25 a.m., Officer Carmen Mollichella reported. The victim found the tires of her vehicle had been slashed numerous times sometime overnight, police said, adding that the incident is under investigation.
Officers made contact with Mack McCory Cannon, 37, of Coatesville, in the 100 block of North Seventh Avenue, Cpl. Larry Cooper reported. Cannon, who had a state police warrant, was taken into custody and transported to the station for processing, police said.
Police were dispatched to the 100 block of North Seventh Avenue on Saturday at 4:37 a.m. for a disturbance, Cpl. Larry Cooper reported. Upon arrival, officers learned that Jessica N. Rivera, 34, of Coatesville, had been denied entry into a motorcycle club due to an altercation days earlier, police said. Rivera responded by kicking the door, pulling an expandable baton from her purse, and threatening the club president, police said. Police said they confiscated the baton and took Rivera into custody. She was charged with prohibited weapons and terroristic threats and released on 10 percent of $5,000 bail, police said.
Police came into contact with Ronald Geathers , 42, of Coatesville, in the 600 block of East Lincoln Highway at 3:25 a.m. on Saturday, Officer Kirt Guyer reported. Geathers was found to have a warrant from Philadelphia for a probation violation, police said. He was taken into custody, and a subsequent search revealed suspected cocaine in his possession, police said. He was arraigned and taken to Chester County Prison after failing to post 10 percent of $10,000 bail, police said.
