Police said they punched another teen in head, stole her groceries
Two teenage girls were apprehended in connection with a strong-arm robbery on Friday at 9:01 p.m. in the unit block of South Fourth Avenue and Harmony Street, Coatesville Police Cpl. Jeffrey Ingemie reported. Police said a 13-year-old and a 14-year-old, who punched another teen in the head and stole her groceries, were located in the 500 block of Olive Street by police and identified by the victim. The assailants were processed and released on robbery and assault charges pending a summons from the Chester County Juvenile Probation Office, police said.
On Saturday at 11:05 p.m., police responded to the 200 block of West Lincoln Highway for a 9-1-1 call that remained open, alerting police that a physical altercation was occurring, Det. Kevin Campbell reported. Upon arrival, officers located a woman who was shaken but unharmed and said that her ex-boyfriend, Timothy Davis, 28, of Pottstown, had forced entry into the residence by breaking the rear door, a panel of which was lying on the kitchen floor, police said. Although Davis had fled, officers apprehended him in the 100 block of West Lincoln Highway about an hour later, police said. He was taken into custody and charged with burglary, criminal trespass, and related offenses, police said.
Carlton Wilkerson, 49, of Coatesville, was charged with summary harassment on Friday after police responded to a domestic dispute at 10:20 p.m. in the 400 block of Maple Avenue, Officer Sylvester Earle reported.
A traffic stop at the intersection of North Fourth Avenue and East Chestnut Street at 1:25 a.m. on Saturday led to drug charges, Cpl. Jeffrey Ingemie reported. Police said Ashlea Leonard, 29, of Coatesville, was found to be in possession of a crack pipe and other drug paraphernalia. Leonard was taken into custody, processed, and released pending a summons from district court, police said.
Dowayne Molina, 35, of Coatesville, faces summary harassment charges after continuing to make calls on Saturday to a woman who told him not to contact her, Officer Sylvester Earle reported.
William Woodward Jr., 31, of Coatesville, was taken into custody on Sunday at 4:30 a.m. at North Seventh Avenue and Lumber Street on a warrant for theft from East Pikeland Township, Cpl. Jeffrey Ingemie reported.
State police from the Embreeville barracks arrested Stanley Twyman, 42, of Coatesville, for driving under the influence during a sobriety checkpoint at East Chestnut Street and North First Avenue on Sept. 1 at 1:35 a.m., police said.
Andrew S. Mahoney, 23, of East Fallowfield, was arrested for driving under the influence on Aug. 15 at 9:45 p.m. at Strasburg and Beck Roads in East Fallowfield following a motor vehicle crash, said state police from the Embreeville barracks.
