Police: Stolen car recovered in Highland Twp.

BMW reportedly damaged after being taken from unit block of Woodland Ave.

IMG_0486On Wednesday at 4:53 p.m., Coatesville Police received a stolen-car complaint, Officer Miguel A. Ortiz reported. The victim said a black 2003 BMW 745l with the Pennsylvania license JDS 8685 was stolen from the unit block of Woodland Avenue around 4:30 p.m., police said. At 6:40 p.m. Pennsylvania State Police recovered the vehicle, which had been abandoned and damaged in Highland Township, police said, adding that an investigation is continuing with state police.

Coatesville Police came into contact with Lennart Ernest Wessberg, 32, of Oakdale, N.Y., on Thursday at 6 a.m. when he was brought into the station by Ace investigations and Protection Inc. for a criminal warrant, Officer Joseph Norcini reported. Wessberg was taken into custody and held for processing, police said.

On Tuesday at 9:14 a.m., police conducted a vehicle investigation in the 600 block of East Lincoln Highway, coming into contact with Mayra Millan, 29, of Coatesville, Officer Jose Colon reported. Officers determined that Millan had warrant from Philadelphia and the state of Delaware, police said. He was taken into custody and taken to the station to await transport, police said.
